The relationship started
With the family tree

When we react the same
It makes us
Stop and think
Did we react that way
Because of the genetic link

A common set of principles
It seems to be the rule
There seems to be no rivalry
I feel she is a jewel

The characteristics
That we share
Created the bond
This is
Hard to compare

We cry a little
We laugh a lot
We take one day at a time
That is all that we got

She is my extended family
We rely on each other
Unconditionally
